In You, a 2007 work by Khaled Sabsabi, a few lines are uttered by Hassan Nasrallah in a video.
Occasionally his face is replaced by a circle of light and at other times, his face is radiant as he says the same lines again and again.
The one Hassan becomes two Hassans and then four, until on the video wall, he is ten thousand Hassans, radiant or subdued, every Hassan mouthing the same words, replica faces in a square – à la Borges – endlessly multiplying out.
