David Kearns

David Kearns is a historian working on Ngunnawal land. He received his PhD from the University of Sydney in 2020, and an MPhil in Political Thought and Intellectual History from the University of Cambridge in 2015. David’s work focuses on the history of the early modern common law, and he has a particular interest in the history of theory, the relationship between law and theory, and the Australian reception of the common law tradition.
