Melanie Walsh

Melanie Walsh is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Information School at the University of Washington. Her research interests include data science, digital humanities, cultural analytics, and contemporary literature. She is the author of a free programming textbook, Introduction to Cultural Analytics & Python, and she is working on another book about viral literary texts and “extremely online” readers.
