Miles Pattenden

Miles Pattenden is a historian of the Catholic Church at Deakin University. His books include Electing the Pope in Early Modern Italy (Oxford University Press, 2017) and The Cambridge History of the Papacy (Cambridge University Press, 2025). He writes widely on contemporary Catholic politics and ethics and about LGBTQ+ culture.
